  RST is launching a pilot program to test the PenelopeCS sterile supply robot in real world hospital environments and to gather customer
feedback on the product. In this pilot program we will be testing PenelopeCS version P1.1, where the "P" is for "Pilot".
This version of the robot will focus on counting, tracking, packing surgical instruments. Any bug-fixes or enhancements identified
in the pilot will then be incorporated into our next version, PenelopeCS 1.0 — the first commercially available product. Goals The goals of the PenelopeCS Pilot Program are as follows: - Demonstrate basic sterile supply counting, tracking, and packing capabilities for a select set
of surgical instruments and trays.
- Gather product design and performance feedback from customers, including perceived value,
usability, speed, reliability, and so on.
- Verify that the product meets or exceeds performance specifications, such as tray processing
time and error/exception rates.
- Gather customer feedback and statistics on the tray inserts, both in sterile supply and the OR.
- Verify that the product can be utilized safely.
- Collect customer usage pattern data, including timing, errors, and throughput.
Process This pilot test will be conducted on-site at the partner hospital. RST will install one PenelopeCS P1.1 robot at each pilot program
site. The robot will be installed within (or as close as possible to) the site's sterile supply department. As part of the pilot
program, RST will provide the hospital with a set of tray inserts required for trays processed by the robot. A portion of the hospital's
instrument containers will designated for the PenelopeCS trial, and clearly marked as such on the outside. These marked containers will
be loaded with the PenelopeCS inserts. RST personnel will provide training and support througout the 6 week trial. Participate Please fill the following form if you are interested in participating in the PenelopeCS Pilot Program or would like more information.
